Home alone and stressed out

I don’t believe it!!

I honestly thought with Mr CB currently being in the land of Dudelsack, I would be able to have some time to myself, in other words – wordpress time.

I should be soo lucky 😦

Monday morning, newly ball-less Jack the Russel Ripper was shaking (in pain) unable to walk and generally looking as though he was at death door.
One seven o’clock early morning emergeny call to the vet and fifty quit later for tablets and injections, I am pleased to say he’s on the mend although I dread to think how much they are going to charge us for his follow-up check up tomorrow. And all that only because he couldn’t keep his eyes (and other parts) of his female doggy friends 😦
Monday afternoon I borrowed truck with driver (thanks again mate, I owe you one) from big boss (who owes me big style but that’s another story) and picked up HUGE fridge/freezer with ice crusher/maker thingy from friends. Got my dad and his friend to cut kitchen workbench to make room for HUGE fridge. (Did I mention that I LOVE my new HUGE fridge?;-)
Needless to say two cupboards had to budge so,by the way, I’ve spent all day Sunday rearranging my kitchen and binning all stuff unable to fit in other cupboards – pots and pans are hugely overrated anyway 😉
After beer-drinking father(not so much) friend and driver-pal from work left, my brother and sister-in-law turned up for a good slagging down of stupid bitch formerly known as my mother.

Today it was work and home and bank and pay for fridge ( oops, was so worried about the Ripper yesterday that I forgot to detour to bank en route to work in the morning)
Then of to sister-in-laws birthday get together and would you BELIEVE it??!!? One stupid #*<# actually said:" where's your mum?"
Trust me, I've got the art of smiling whilst wanting to slaughter someone perfectly sussed, I did not flip, honest!

Anyway, there's always tomorrow, work then shopping then my recently again single friend is coming (her daughter is with her father and she asked ..and I like her) so I asked my bestes pal to come, too, they are staying overnight… Must rememer to change the bedding.

The rest of the week is "easy" – big CB's birthday oh and of course football on Thursday, work and birthday party on friday – I “volonteered” to cook and remain hidden in the cellar for the rest of the night 😉
Saturday, Sunday football, washing, ironing… the usual.

And I managed to (have) fix the door handle that was hanging off ('t wasn't me mum, honest) 😉

As for Mr CB… he's been out for drinks with his ex, played golf with her husband, bought himself some clothing… Totally stressed out, he is 😉

I am your average wife,mother,friend,employee....a bit lost in my world, a bit crazy at times but always good for a laugh - I think ;-)
