You patronizing git

I mean, come on, how dare me having been ill? Surely I must realize that this is a no-go?!

Not that my boss has said words to that effect, no, he just looks at me and

you are not intending on going on leave next week, are you?

stupid smirk on his face as if to say “I dare you”

To which I replied

I do

To which he said:

because I have plans

smirk, tut, turned away

Now, bearing in mind that, yes I´ve been off sick for 2 weeks but:

A. it is mega quiet.
B. I´ve been back for a week
C. The leave has been applied for and granted weeks ago.
D. It´s school holidays, what am I supposed to do with my kids for christ sake?
E. My colleagues are in to cover for me.

Had he said, do you mind if we talk about your leave I would have been happy to see if I can make alternative arrangements but not like that.

That was yesterday.

Today, he looks at an invoice I made and said:

you´ve invoiced it all?!

That´s what you´ve said, invoice all and keep…on stock

I did not, I said write two separate invoices

You didn´t, you said: “invoice and keep.. on stock”

did not

you did

did not

You know what, I am too old and too mature than to play silly beggars with you. Just bear in mind that it´s a sign of maturity and great character to actually admit when you´re in the wrong

I am your average wife,mother,friend,employee....a bit lost in my world, a bit crazy at times but always good for a laugh - I think ;-)

  2. Thanks for visiting CardiganExpress. I can remember a boss I had who sounds just like your boss. Is his name Chad? lol.
